Die Nachbarschaft
Christianshavn liegt mitten in Kopenhagen zwischen Amager und dem Binnenhafen. Der Stadtteil wurde 1618 als ein Handels- und Handwerksort mit eigenem Rathaus gegründet. Trotz steigender Immobilienpreise hat das Viertel noch immer deutliche Spuren, die auf den historischen Status als Arbeiterviertel hinweisen. Christianshavn ist von Kanälen und grünen Wällen umgeben und ist beliebt bei Kopenhagenern, die eine Pizza oder einen Kaffee an den Kanälen genießen möchten. Im Viertel kann man nicht nur einen gemütlichen Spaziergang durch die alten Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen machen, es hat auch viele Attraktionen zu bieten: Vom vergoldeten Turm der Erlöserkirche (Vor Frelser Kirke) aus kann man den Blick auf die Stadt genießen. Oder gehen Sie durch die Overgade ins Institut für zeitgenössische Kunst (Institut for samtidskunst), um Kultur zu erleben. Sie können auch den Freistaat Christiania besuchen, wo das Restaurant “Spiseloppen“ empfehlenswert ist. Für Gourmets ist das beste Restaurant der Welt, das "Noma", ein Muss. Wenn Sie einfach nur entspannen möchten, ist das türkische Bad “Sofiebad” einen Besuch wert.
